How does this affect the UW community?
There will be an electrical shutdown that will affect all normal power within the listed buildings (Beck Hall, Eby Hall & Grand Commons) due to a high-voltage feed connection. The building will be without normal power for 4 hours, and elevators will not function. Emergency power will be active.
