Science Teaching Complex (STC), main atrium
What is happening?
The skylight above the main atrium needs to be replaced. As part of this project, the contractor needs to install a crash deck system below the skylight to facilitate the installation of new glass.
When is this happening?
The crash deck installation will take place from Monday, November 3, 2025 to November 21, 2025.
How does this affect the UW community?
The work will be taking place overnight. Generally, the impact to occupants will be minimal, although some minor interruptions may occur if present during the hours of 10pm to 8am. A scaffold will be present at 3rd floor by the elevator limiting seating area during the days.
