South Campus General (main campus).
What is happening?
Replacement of 4 main backflow preventers.
When is this happening?
Saturday, December 20, 2025. (2am-5pm). All day.
How does this affect the UW community?
This will affect soft water on campus for this work. Various locations around campus will not have the use of hot water, and other locations will have use of hot water, but the water will not be softened. We will bypass as many locations as possible to allow hot water to remain on to as many buildings as possible.
